Organizing Committee CILEX2016
I would like to warmly welcome all participants to our First International Conference on Foreign Languages CILEX2016 at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. For a long time, we had wished to offer this opportunity to teachers and researchers in the field from Mexico and around the world to join and share their work and finally we have been able to make this dream come true. Thanks to the hard work of the organizing committee, we have been able to bring together highly distinguished researchers in the field and thus accomplished one of the main goals of this conference: to help each other to continue inspiring and motivating the thousands of students that we will work with throughout our careers as language educators.
I particularly want to welcome all of you that are visiting us from elsewhere to our beautiful campus in the north of Mexico. We are in a dynamic and fast growing industrial city that requires quality language teaching because of its international nature. There’s a lot of construction going on at the moment, but that means that it will be even more beautiful for CILEX 2018.
We hope that you enjoy the talks, workshops and plenaries that are being offered during the conference and that these presentations are enlightening, innovative, inspiring and sometimes even provocative.
