Organizing Committee CILEX2018
I would like to warmly welcome all participants to the second edition of the International Conference on Foreign Languages CILEX 2018 at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. We consider CILEX 2016 a great success in that we had some wonderful plenary speakers such as David Crystal, a great audience and a perfect atmosphere in spite of the cold and rain that we had to deal with.
The committee has been working tirelessly again to make this second edition an even greater success. We will have fascinating speakers and highly distinguished researchers in the field and thus continue with our quest to reach one of the main goals of our conference: to help each other to keep inspiring and motivating the thousands of students that we will work with throughout our careers as language educators.
Again, I want to welcome all of you that are visiting us from elsewhere on our beautiful campus in the north of Mexico. We are in a dynamic and fast growing industrial city that requires quality language teaching because of its international nature. Make sure that you find some time to walk around campus and enjoy some of the new buildings that have recently been inaugurated such as the main library and La Carreta.
We hope that you enjoy the talks, workshops and plenaries that are being offered during the conference and that these presentations are enlightening, innovative, and above all inspiring.
